US Marine Corps
December 6, 1937 - July 18, 2020

Johnny Alvin Lovell joined our Lord in Heaven July 18th, 2020. He served in the US Marine Corps Reserves and the US Marine Corps, spending 8 months overseas. He is survived by his daughters, Caron Hoffman, Robin Shelton, Melissa Hawthorne, his son, Richard Lovell, his sisters Lois Hampton and Marie Rose, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was a carpenter in his youth and framed the home where he and his children resided in the early 70’s. He enjoyed bowling and played in tournaments in the late 60’s. He retired from Ingersol Rand and spent his later years in relaxation with family and friends. He loved the clear waters of the ocean in Mexico, where he spent his last vacation. He was a great father, brother, and grandfather and will be missed dearly. Rest Easy, Marine. We have the watch from here.
