Rosalee F. Kimple, 87, passed away January 20, 2021. She was born on November 11, 1933 in Brinkley Arkansas the youngest of 8 siblings. A child of the Great Depression, Rosalee was tough, determined, charming, and very generous. After High School Rosalee attended Louisiana Tech University and later worked in Memphis and Little Rock. Wanting more opportunities, Rosalee moved to Dallas by herself with big dreams. Throughout her entire life she gave without pause to help her family, friends, and causes near to hear heart. As a young woman she sponsored families in Dallas in need of food. She also volunteered as an English teacher for Operation Lift to help those who were illiterate and had been deprived an education all while working to support herself. Rosalee married Louis T. Kimple September 16, 1960 and raised two sons, Scott Kimple and Brad Kimple. She was a caring and proud mother. She was also an artist and business woman running her own successful interior design company, Designer’s Circle Interiors Inc. for over 40 years. Rosalee was so well rounded and interested in so much of what was beautiful in life, music, literature, sports, landscapes, and more. Her truest passion was for the arts and specifically dance. From early childhood she wanted to be a professional dancer and was inspired by the famous dancer and actress Shirley Temple. A true gift to the Dallas arts community, she gave so much of herself, especially to dance and sponsored several young dancers from Booker T. Washington Arts Magnet School in Dallas who have gone on to successful careers. Honored by both Bruce Wood Dance and TITAS, Rosie was dedicated to keeping dance performance and education going strong in North Texas. Armed with a wry wit wrapped in southern charm, Rosie was a no-nonsense lady. We were truly blessed to know her. She was deeply loved and will be missed by us all. Rosalee was preceded in death by her parents, six of her siblings and her husband Louis. She is survived by her sons Scott and Brad.
