Harry Hobart “Rocky” Barnes Jr. was born December 2, 1966 and passed peacefully on October 31, 2021 at his residence in Hillsboro, Tx. Born and raised in Dallas, TX, he was the youngest of three boys.
In life, he was a lover of all things Texas and a lover of the Dallas Cowboys. He was known to call you after a touchdown to celebrate and then simply hang up. He wore his gear with pride and rarely missed a game.
Harry was a wonderful friend, coworker, father and Papa.
He is preceded in death by his Mother Annie C. Barnes, Father H.H. Miller, Brothers Leonard W. “Tadpole” Speiker and Carl L. Speiker, his late wife Lisa Barnes (Butler) and his best friend David Aguillon.
He is survived by his daughter Kendale and her husband Sam Hamlet, grandsons Keadon and Jaxtyn, Son Zak and his wife Chelse Barnes, his adopted brothers Philip Eddy and J.D. ”Jack” Dunlap and his Shadow, Diane Anderson.
He was a character and his personality was larger than life. He left an impression on everyone he met, and he will be greatly missed.
I was his Angel in life, now he will be mine.
