Fonda Fay (Hall) Palmer, 77 of McKinney, TX formerly of Wooster, OH left this world and passed on to her Heavenly reward to be her Lord & Savior and reunited with family and loved ones that went before her on January 26th 2022.
Fonda was born June 18th 1944 in Meadowbrook, WV the only daughter of the late Layman “Bill” Matthew and Marjorie Merle (Lipscomb) Hall. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Robert "Jim" Palmer in 2014, her five brothers; Ralph, Wayne, Olen, Larry & Okey Hall and her sister-in-law Margaret Hall and brother-in-law John Palmer.
After Fonda graduated from Shinnston High School, she married Jim Palmer and they made a family home in Mansfield, OH with their only son Robert Palmer. They later moved to Wooster, OH. Fonda & Jim were very active in their community. They attended and were very involved at the West Hill Baptist Church in Wooster and with The Lions Club. Fonda also was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and helped with the Wayne County Humane Society.
Fonda was a lovely and caring soul. She enjoyed attending church, shopping, traveling, tending to her flowers and vegetable gardens, caring for her pets throughout the years, many of them rescues or strays. She was also a great homemaker, cook and baker. Fonda loved her family and friends dearly and was always there to help anyway she could or just be there to listen. She will be missed by all that loved her.
Those left behind to cherish Fonda’s memory are her son Robert “Bob” Mathew Palmer his wife Rachel of Texas, her two grandsons Matthew Palmer and Connor Story and wife Jennifer, her sister-in-laws; Lora Hall, Elizabeth Hall, Nancy Hall and Juanita Palmer as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Per Fonda’s wishes cremation services were provided and a family celebration and remembrance of Fonda’s life will be held at a later date.
