Mike is survived by his Daughter, Heather Trump (Brian Carl) of Leander, TX. His Grandsons Darian and Jayden Rice of Leander, TX. His Father Carl Trump and Brother Kenny Trump of Caddo Mills, TX. His Sister, Wanda (Nathan) McSpadden of Leander, TX. His Half Sister April (Ronnie) Howard of Mineral Wells, TX. His Nephews and Nieces- Allen (Jessica) McSpadden, Marcus (Nikki) McSpadden, and Cody Trump of Leander, TX, Alex (Alyssa) Trump and Alicia (Bobby) Azevedo of Liberty Hill, TX, Wayne (Lindsi) Capehart of Smithville, TX. Lots of Great Nephews and Nieces, as well as several other extended family members and close friends.
Mike is preceded in death by his Mother, Janice Trump (Preece) of Leander, TX, Brother, Ronnie Trump of Leander, TX and Grandparents- Willie & Dorothy Trump of New Braunfels, TX and Travis Preece & Phennie Judkins (Jones) of San Saba, TX.
Mike was born in Palestine, TX to Carl & Janice Trump in 1962. He was a long time Leander, TX resident, LHS Class of ‘81. He resided in Bertram, TX the last few years of his life.
Mike was an accomplished Carpenter and Chef. He loved competing and won several awards for BBQ cook offs, Pool tournaments, Roping, and fishing.
Mike was stubborn and strong willed but also the most caring guy. He was always there to help out where and when he could. He had lots of jokes and loved to make people laugh. He loved God, his family and friends. He will be forever missed and in our hearts. A Celebration of Life is being planned, and will be announced at a later date. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, TX, for their Support and care during this difficult time.
