Thomas Joseph Adams was born at Seton Hospital in Austin, Texas on November 18, 1938 to Joe and Mary Adams. He was the oldest of four children. Tom met and married the love of his life, Marie, on September 13, 1961. They were blessed with four wonderful daughters, Julia Marie (deceased November 12, 1967), Sheila Elaine (deceased November 1, 2010), Brenda Gail and Ann Marie.
Tom grew up in Austin and graduated from St. Edward?s High School and later attended St. Edwards University. He spent much of his younger years working farm land in Hutto and Pflugerville with his dad and uncles. In 1995 he was grateful to receive a donor heart. His transplant gave him another 16 years to see his children and his grandchildren grow. Time with family was a priority for him. His Catholic faith and his family were the most important things in his life. One thing that Tom never had a problem with, was expressing love for his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years this September, Marie, daughters Brenda Bush and husband Mike Bush, Ann English and husband Mike English, grandchildren Trent Arbuckle, Alex Kennon, Jacob Kennon, Erynn English, Adam English, Allison English, Ethan Bush, Wyatt Bush, ?adopted? daughter Shantel Geeslin and ?adopted? granddaughter Kayela Geeslin. His beloved dog Tippy misses him so much already.
