Steven C Williams, age 52, died July 27th after a lengthy illness. Born January 13, 1959 in Buffalo, NY, Steve came to Texas in 1979 and settled in San Marcos in 1981. Steve was a generous person who loved to help people. He had a thorough understanding of how things work. He loved to repair anything that was broken ? cars, appliances, plumbing, furniture, and more. Steve was a fabulous cook. His Thanksgiving dinners are legendary. He also loved music, trains & playing pool.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Davidson and Cecil Williams.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Denise Steinhagen, sister-in-law Diana Steinhagen, sister Nancy Christman and husband Bobby, and a niece Carol Christman, as well as other family members. Steve also leaves many good friends in and around the San Marcos area.
Thanks to the kind people at CTMC Hospice, and San Marcos/Hays County EMS and at South Hays County Fire Dept.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Steve?s name can be made to CTMC Hospice or any local animal shelter.
