May 5, 1952 - February 8, 2004 Karl passed away on February 8, 2004, after a short battle with cancer. Karl was a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was always doing things for his family and friends or enjoying his favorite hobby. Karl was never known to allow the grass to grow high under his feet. Everyone Karl met was his friend. Karl is survived by his wife and friend, Darlene; daughters, Wendy Bruton and husband, Clay of Temple, Lori Ashton of Round Rock, Heather Turner and husband, Jason of Pflugerville; parents, Vince C. and Josephine Tusa of Waco; sister, Louise Crites and husband, Cotton of Richardson; brothers, Dr. Vince Tusa and wife, Betty of Paris, Tennesse, Leonard Tusa and wife, Sherry of Waco; grandson, Chance Bruton; granddaughters, Brittni Rohde and Kayla Turner; five nieces and three nephews. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2004, at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2004, in the Memorial Chapel of Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society. We invite our friends and family to take part in a developing biography and photographic life story at www.mem.com. Your personal written tributes are welcomed and encouraged.
