Robert Alan Rabideau, 53, of Austin, died Saturday, March 15, 2014. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 30, 1960. Robert was a loving and very devoted partner, son, brother and uncle. He was Marketing Project Leader for Texas Medical Association Insurance Trust for 15 years.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert C. & Alice E. Rabideau, Tano's father, Antonio Serna, Jr. and brother, Antonio Serna, III. He is survived by his loving partner, Atanacio (Tano) Serna; siblings Cathy Mlodzik, Judy Wheless & husband, Ron, Dennis Rabideau & wife, Rita, Shari McDavid, James Rabideau & wife, Diana and Jane Kendrick & husband, Brad, Tano's mother, Mary Serna; brothers, Hank Serna & Rick Serna, and sister, Mary Helen Reyes and husband, Steven, along with many nieces and nephews that adored him, as well as his precious babies: Savannah, Skylar, Isabella and Teddi.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with funeral services at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 20, 2014. Both visitation and funeral services will be at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 N. Interstate 35, Pflugerville, TX.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Achal Dhruva, Dr. Allison Gorrebeeck, Dr. Stephen Brown and the many other doctors, nurses and staff that worked so closely with him throughout his treatment, as well as the nurses and staff of Hospice Austin and Christopher House. We'd also like to thank his employer, James Prescott and coworkers who have been so loving and understanding of his needs. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

We love you, our dear brother, with all of our hearts and will miss you so very, very much, but you will always be with us no matter how long it takes before we're reunited in Heaven. Thank you for being the loving brother that you were and for giving us another brother, Tano, whom we love so much and will watch over for you along with God.
