*Obituary
Donald Gall, 65, of Austin, Texas left this world on July 29, 2015 for a permanent hunting and fishing trip. A lifelong Texan, he was born to Mary R. and Lawrence F. Gall on April 11, 1950 in Brenham, Texas.
Donald retired from TXDOT after more than 35 years of employment in highway maintenance. He loved driving the highways and always had a keen eye for Texas wildlife and discovering roadside treasures. Donald enjoyed his life when not working and especially after retirement. He was often found enjoying an early morning breakfast at Dan's, working at the feed store, hunting, fishing or drinking a Miller Lite while out two-stepping at Giddy Ups or The Stardust.
Donald is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence F. Gall. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mary R. Gall; brother, Kenny Gall and wife Mary; children, Lonnie, Nicole, Allison, Dodie and Dina and their spouses; and many grandchildren, other extended family members and life-long friends.
An inurnment service will be held at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery. A Celebration of Life wil follow at Giddy-Ups.
In lieu of flowers, please share a beer and take a spin around the dancefloor in Donald's honor or memorial contributions can be made to Ronny Smith Memorial Buyer's Group, 4605 Manzanillo Drive Austin, TX 78749 or at www.ronnysmith.org to help support FFA and 4H kids at the Travis and Hays county youth livestock shows.
