Paul Wesley Lindgren, age 59, died peacefully on September 23, 2016 from pneumonia-related complications. Paul was surrounded by his family when the Lord called him home.

Paul was a native South Austinite and attended Travis Heights Elementary, Fulmore Jr High and Travis High School. He also attended Texas State Technical College where he studied Airplane Mechanics.

Paul's greatest love in life beginning in his early childhood years was always airplanes. He started working in aviation at numerous small Central Texas general aviation airports, but by far his greatest joy was working for Southwest Airlines where he was employed for 15 years. Paul loved the entire SWA organization and especially his co-workers, whom he always considered family.

Paul is predeceased by his father Doyle Hugh Lindgren, grandparents Clarice and Melvin Sanders and Della and Hugo Lindgren. He is survived by his mother Viva Conneen Sanders, brother Mark Lindgren, sister Janna Lindgren Burleson, half-sister Terri Lindgren Brotherton and husband Gary, half-brother Jeff Lindgren and wife Grace, nephews and nieces Travis Burleson, Steven and Lindsay Milicia, Garrett and Evalie Lindgren, and stepmother Jan Lindgren.

A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church of Austin in the Murchison Chapel located at 1201 Lavaca St. on Thursday, October 6, 2016 @ 2:30 p.m. Memorial gifts may be made to First United Methodist Church of Austin.

Paul Wesley has boarded his final flight. Nonstop. Destination - Heaven.
