Cathryne Davenport, 92, of Texarkana, AR passed away October 15, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Davenport was born May 16, 1918 in Harleton, TX. She was a Baptist; a member of the VFW Auxiliary; and the Good Sams Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleabert L. Davenport; and a daughter, Merry Dell Edwards.
Survivors include her son, Cleabert J. "Bill" Davenport of Texarkana, AR; daughters, Cathryne Cripps and her husband, Ira of Pineville, LA, Reba Henson of Texarkana, AR, and Judith Hardin and her husband, Ken Bludgen of Athens, AL; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be 3 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with Rev. Dennis Whitmire officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home - Moores Lane.
