Cause of Death
On the morning of Jan.16,1903,while a freight train on the Cotton Belt RailRoad
was ascending a grade 8 miles West Of Texarkana,Texas ,It broke in two,the rear portion ran back down the grade and crashed into another freight train which was following,killing J.F.Cox,the Engineer instantly.
