They married around 1879 in, Cumberland, Kentucky. Born to them were nine children: John Clinton, James William, Jacob Almorine, Lula Lucretia, Dr. Edward Clarence, Esther, Dixie, Clyde and Beecher.

Jacob was multi-talented and held such jobs as: sheriff, carpenter, blacksmith, farmer, rancher and sharecropper. He was also a Mason. His parents were: Clinton Warren and Martha Davis.

All of his kids except, Jacob Almorine (Colorado), Lula (Lubbock, TX), Dixie (Durant, Okla.) and Clyde (Oklahoma City) are buried either beside, or near him at Cannon.

Isabel was the daughter of, John R. and Martha Tallent Dicken. She was a homemaker, worked occasionally on the farm, and raised all but three of her children. She died before Clyde, Dixie and Beecher were married. She is buried beside her daughter, Esther and mother, Martha. Her husband is buried in front of her.
