Wesley Howard (Buck) Frith, 96 of Vernon, Texas died on Saturday, April 4, 2015, in Vernon, Texas.

Services will be Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM at First Assembly of God Church Officiating Rev. Brian Pounds. Interment will be at Eastview Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.

Buck was born Sunday, October 13, 1918 in Marietta, Oklahoma; he was the son of the late Thomas Frith and the late Mattie Burks Frith. He married Marie Thompson on September 13, 1941 in Electra, TX. He had lived in Vernon all of his life. He served in the US Army 1946 to 1949 as a Corporal during WWII. He worked as a welder and he was Vernon's City Commissioner for 14 years. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
