Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Wilbarger Memorial Park, services are under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Emma was born Wednesday, July 20, 1927 in Thalia, Texas. She was the daughter of the late John Matus and the late Bessie Matus. She had lived in Vernon all of her life. She worked at the Vernon Congregate Meals and as a past time she enjoyed to dance, playing dominos and chicken foot. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her Son Bert Fred Cerveny & Wife Debbie of Iowa Park, TX.
Three Daughters Julie Ann Whitehead of Holliday, TX.
Janet Marie Hoover & Husband J.W. of Wylie, TX.
Karen Elizabeth Whitlow of Diane, TX.
Two Sisters Loretta Matus of Seymour, TX.
Mary Bernathy of Kilgore, TX.
10 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her Son Larry Joe Cerveny in 2002, Grandson Chris Hoover and her son-in-law Gary Lynn Whitehead of Holliday on October 19, 2011.
