VERNON - Services for Donald Pharis, 79, of Vernon, will be 10 a.m., Friday, December 11, 2009, at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Gary House officiating. Interment will be in Wilbarger Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Sullivan Funeral Home. Mr. Pharis died December 8, 2009, in Vernon.
Mr. Pharis was born December 3, 1930, in Electra. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Master Mason, a pumper, and a member of Central Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Pharis; daughter, Vickie Naylor; son, Douglas Pharis; stepson, Steve Morcon; stepdaughters, Teri Ray and Brenda Durett; sisters, Nancy Barati, Glenda White and Elaine Brown; and brother, Melvin Pharis.

Barbara Lee Ford Pharis, age 71, of Duncan, Okla., died Monday, October 11, 2010, in Duncan, Okla.
Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 15, 2010 at Sullivan Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Gary House. Interment will be at Wilbarger Memorial Park, under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home.
Mrs. Pharis was a member of Central Christian Church. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Teri Lynn Ray of Duncan, Okla. and Brenda Joyce Durett of Houston; on son, Steve Morcom of Duncan, Okla.; one step-son, Doug Pharis of Vernon, Texas; one step-daughter, Vickie Naylor of Amarillo, Texas; one brother, Roy Ford of Crowell, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
