Obituary
Funeral services for Lou Tully, age 75, of Hagansport, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Sam B. Harvey Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Jimmy Rogers, Randy Sinclair and Melvin Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Colliers Chapel Cemetery with Nicholas Ortiz, Marcus Ortiz, Joseph Ortiz, Jason Rose, Jim Emery, Eric Emery serving as Pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9th, at Harvey Funeral Home.
Ms. Tully died on July 7, 2013 at Texas Regional Medical Center in Sunnyvale. She was born on October 31, 1937, in Blodgett, Texas to Robert Vivan Heath and Clemets Williams Heath.
She was an Avon Distributor and Secretary for many years and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Hagansport.
Ms. Tully is survived by her husband, Joe Edd Tully of Hagansport; daughter Connie Rose and husband, Mike, of Hagansport; daughter, Laurie Ortiz and Cal Gilliam, of Mesquite; sister, Sue Tomlinson of Pittsburg; sister-in-law, Terry Emery, and husband, Jim, of Hagansport; 6 grandchildren, Jason Rose, Staci Rose and Jack Burnett, and Wesley Rose of Hagansport; Marcus and wife, Jena Ortiz, Joseph Ortiz, Nicholas and wife, Cindy Ortiz, of Mesquite; 8 great grandchildren, Robert and Amanda Burnett, Chasity and Ayden Ortiz, Xamera and Nicholas Ortiz, Jr., Caydn Ortiz, and Kyndra Gilliam of Mesquite.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ann Heath.
