Bertha McAlpine McGriff was the daughter of Robert James McAlpine and Annie Elvira Billingsley McAlpine.

Son of Richard Morton McGriff and Martha Ophelia Allen McGriff. He married Bertha McAlpine on December 8, 1912 in Erath County, Texas.
They had four children:
