Services for the Rev. Ronald Edward Glover, 65, Overton, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at Bible Baptist Church, Overton, with the Revs. Rickey Glover, Cecil McLeod and Johnny Wright officiating. Burial will be in Overton City Cemetery under the direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.
Ronnie was born Sept. 16, 1948, in Pine Bluff, Ark., to John Edward and Billie Bradley Glover. He died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, in Overton.
Rev. Glover was the pastor of Bible Baptist Church of Overton for more than 30 years.
He was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School in Pine Bluff, Ark. He also was a graduate of the Baptist Christian College of Shreveport, La., and attended Arkansas A&M and the Hebron College of the Bible in Tyler. He had been the manager of Blake Furniture Stores for many years.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald Dean Glover.
Rev. Glover is survived by his wife, Barbara Glover, of Overton; son, John Bradley Glover, of Texarkansa, Ark.; daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda Lee Luis and Jason, of Kilgore, Angela Michelle Holleman and Lance, of Arp and Natalie Michelle Maxwell and Dustin, of Arp; brother, Rickey Glover and wife Cathy, of Clarendon, Ark.; grandchildren, Macy Kaylynn Wall-Luis, Jacy Olivia Luis, Emily Nicole Glover, Bradley Cole Glover, Rylan Edward Holleman, Richard Kashton Holleman, Aniston Sloan Elise Holleman, Remmington Kate Maxwell, Ronni Kensington Maxwell.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be given to a missionary of your choice.
