WASHBURN - Bula Pauline Beck, 93, died Sunday, May 25, 2008.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Washburn Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Field officiating. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St.
Mrs. Beck was born on May 15, 1915, in Oklahoma to John Joseph and Susie Kelly. She moved to the Texas Panhandle as a young woman. Mrs. Beck was a member of Washburn Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who lovingly raised her family and enjoyed cooking and quilting.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Beck; a daughter, Norma Blair; a son, J.D. Smith; and a granddaughter, Sheryl Ann Butler.
Survivors include three daughters, Charlene Hulsey and husband Jack of Washburn, Ann Butler and husband Harold of Washburn and Jane Duncan and husband Johnny of Amarillo; two sisters, Mary Oden of Yukon, Okla., and Ida Mae Greer of California; four brothers, Bob Kelly of Yukon, David Kelly of Midwest City, Okla., Will Kelly of Tucson, Ariz., and Bill Kelly of Muskogee, Okla.; 20 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Washburn Volunteer Fire Department, in care of Jack Hulsey, 102 Kindred, Claude, TX 79019.
