HEREFORD - Garland Solomon, 88, died Monday, July 5, 2010.
Celebration of life services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in New Life Restoration Center Community Church, 15th Street and Whittier Street in Hereford, with the Rev. Dorman Duggan, pastor, and the Rev. Wayne Kniffen, pastor of Trinity Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Cemetery by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home.
Mr. Solomon married Novelle Brumley on Easter Sunday, April 22, 1973. He was a farmer in the Hereford area all his adult life.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Stan Solomon and Mike Brumley, both of Hereford; two daughters, Sondra Munn of Lubbock and Jana Duggan of Hereford; a brother, Emmett Solomon of Huntsville; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
