Dorothy Perry, 68, of Amarillo died Thursday, June 6, 2013. Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, Hereford.
Dorothy Lee Perry, 68, former Hereford resident died Thursday, June 6, 2013 at her residence in Amarillo.

Dorothy was born November 4, 1944 in Marlin, Texas, to Horace Hayes, Sr. and Hilesta (Williams) Hayes. She married Jessie Perry on April 28, 1991 in Altus, Oklahoma. Dorothy was a member of the Church of God In Christ in Altus, Oklahoma. She loved to cook, bake, read her Bible, watch old western movies and shows, collect nick nacks and was a strict disciplinarian. Dorothy loved to listen to Smokey Robinson music. She loved his voice.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Betty Williams and 1 son, Earl Montique Hazzard.
Survivors include her husband Jessie of the home, 2 sons, Jimmie Hazzard of Hohenfels, Germany, Cornelius Carruthers of Beeville, TX, 2 daughters, Kellie Robinson and husband Bobby of Altus, OK, Felicia Mayberry and husband Dwight of Amarillo, 4 brothers, Horace Hayes, Jr. and wife Alice, Carlee Graves and wife Alice, Benny Lee Graves, all of Hereford, Robert Lee Graves of Omaha, NE, 1 sister, Carolyn Jackson of Hereford, 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Dorothy Lee Perry, 68, of Amarillo, formerly of Hereford, died Thursday, June 6, 2013.
Mrs. Perry was born Nov. 4, 1944, in Marlin to Horace Hayes Sr. and Hilesta Williams Hayes. She married Jessie Perry on April 28, 1991, in Altus, Okla.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jimmie Hazzard of Hohenfels, Germany, and Cornelius Carruthers of Beeville; two daughters, Kellie Robinson of Altus and Felicia Mayberry of Amarillo; four brothers, Horace Hayes Jr., Carlee Graves and Benny Lee Graves, all of Hereford, and Robert Lee Graves of Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Carolyn Jackson of Hereford; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
