Preston E. (Red) Hagans, 87, of Amarillo died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010.
Red was born March 30, 1923, in Gatesville. He moved to Hereford in 1938, and married Bettye Jo Kendall on Sept. 25, 1943. He served in World War II from 1942 to 1946. In 1972, they moved to Cleburne where he was a Pizza Hut franchisee until he retired in 1982. Mr. Hagans enjoyed his retirement traveling with family and friends. They moved to Amarillo in 2006.
Mr. Hagans was a member of Field Street Baptist Church in Cleburne.
Survivors include his wife, Bettye; three daughters, Janice Mills and husband Jerry of Coppell, Sharon Bray of Amarillo and Tamra Repman and husband Joe of Lake Jackson; four grandchildren, Shelly Montgomery and husband Jeff of Amarillo, Debbie Repman of Houston, Michael Repman and wife Jessica of Deer Park and Cathy Repman of Houston; two great-granddaughters, Hagan Montgomery and Laney Montgomery of Amarillo.
