Private P M Brown was born 11 Oct 1846 in Bibb AL to Winford C Ray & Hitson Brown. He died 12 Aug 1937 in the Confederate Home in Austin, Travis Co. TX. He was known as both 'Patrick' and 'Monroe'. Monroe was married three times: first to Vandalia E Watkins, second to Mary Alice Dunlap, and finally to Jennie Brown whom he met in the Confederate Home. He had at least 5 children.
