Texas State Cemetery - Entrance Gate
Established in 1854, the cemetery is located east of downtown Austin, Travis Co., Texas at 901 Navasota Street. Burials include prominent Texans and their spouses and other military veterans, including Confederate veterans, and their widows. Also eligible are members of the Texas legislature or other state officials who die in office, and those who have made a significant contribution to Texas history.
