HEREFORD - Sherri Lynn Newman, 57, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2001.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Bulin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Hereford by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Newman married Alan Newman on April 17, 1960, in Portales, N.M. She was a retired R.N.
Survivors include her husband, Alan Newman; a son, Kerry Newman of Amarillo; a daughter, LeAnna Sharber of Canyon; two sisters, Kim Franklin of Sante Fe, N.M., and Nina Young of Hammond, N.Y.; three brothers, Victor Young of Hamilton, Mass., Ike Young of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Chris Young of Danielsville, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
