Graveside services for Floyd Raymond Sharp, age 73, of Leesburg will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Mt. Vernon City Cemetery with Tom Ray officiating. Mr. Sharp died Friday, March 29, 2013 at his residence. He was born on September 21, 1939 in Bokohoma, OK the son of Hardy and Mettie Deaton Sharp.
He was a retired logger and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by partner, Jacque Davis of Leesburg; son and daughter-in-law, Floyd Edward and Jennifer Sharp of Pittsburg, TX; two sisters: Margie Gaskill of Carlsbad, NM and Mary Cowan of Lubbock, TX; three grandchildren: Michael Anthony Sharp, Justin Tyler Sharp, and Thomas Wayne Wilson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Minnie Sharp; three brothers: Odell, James, and Elmer Sharp; and a sister, Alva "Tinker" Titsworth.
