Casualty of WWII, Thomas was a Leading Aircraftman in the
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve ~ Service No:1531813.
He was 21 and the son of Michael and Hetty Travers of Bradford, Yorkshire, England.
Inscription:
"He Gave His Life In
The Cause Of Freedom."
Two aircraft collided while shifting position during formation flying west of Wills Point at 3:00 in the afternoon. Both Allan Gadd and Thomas Travers died as a result of this. {T.K.}
