Casualty of WWII, Harold was an Aircraftman 2nd Class in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve ~ Service No: 1609683

He was 19 and the son of Harold Lawrence and Lilly Louis Slocock [nee Samuel]of Maidenhead, Berkshire, England.

Inscription:
"Son Of Harold And
Lily Slocock.
I Thank My God For Every
Remembrance Of Thee."

The only student to die of natural causes, Slocock had been in Terrell only a few weeks when he became ill. He died in the army hospital at Majors Field in Greenville, Texas. The medical officer listed the cause of death as tuberculosis. {T.K.}
