J.W. McGee was born on August 23, 1926 in Frankston, Texas to parents Claude McGee and Lula Nelson and entered into eternal rest on September 23, 2015 at the age of 89. J.W. worked as an auto mechanic and enjoyed building race cars. He also worked as a ranch hand and loved being a "Cowboy". J.W. attended Payne Spring Baptist Church. He was a very loving and caring man who will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
J.W. was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister and 4 brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife Jean McGee of Mabank, daughter Susie Amos of Mabank, daughter Kathy Bergami and husband Tom of White Pine, TN, granddaughter Ashley Amos, other loving family members and many more friends.
