Our beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend passed away Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008 at Bay City Regional Medical Center at age 36. The son of Hilario Pena Sr., and Arasiela Gonzales, he was born on Dec. 23, 1971 in Standish, Mich. He enjoyed music and cooking but by far most, he enjoyed being around his family. His greatest devotion was to his children. Surviving are his three children, Hilario Pena III, Angel and Maria; his mother, Arasiela Gonzales; his father, Hilario Pena Sr.; his brothers, Juan Pena, Rolando and LaTricia Pena, Ramon Pena and Jose Gonzales; and his grandmother, Luisa Gonzales. His uncle Martin and grandfather Galo Gonzales predeceased him. The funeral service for Hilario Pena Jr. will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Long Lake Baptist Church. Graveside service will follow in Fort Houston Cemetery. Friends may call on the family at McCoy Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
