Dr T B Miller, Pioneer, Buried At Goodnight
Dr T B Miller, pioneer, Mason, gentleman and physician of the Panhandle, age 73 years, a native of Kentucky, who has lived in Goodnight for the pas 20 years, died Monday at the Harris Sanitarium, Fort Worth, after a
lingering illness. Dr Miller resided in Wolfe City and Wellington, Texas previous to coming to Goodnight, where he came in 1906 to educate children in the Goodnight Baptist College. The last two years Dr Miller spent in Fort Worth. Funeral services were held in Fort Worth
Monday evening and a Masonic ceremony was held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Baptist Church, Goodnight. Pall bearers were: J M Crain, J C McDowell, J F Sewell, Charles King of Amarillo. George Roach, Goodnight and Wash Storm of Claude. This man was every faithful to his convictions and always took a stand for right thinking. To mourn his departure are
his wife, Mrs T B Miller, and sons, Gaither Miller of Fort Worth, Dr Oscar Miller of Denison, Tom Miller of Fort Worth, Joe and Amons Miller of Goodnight and Daughters,
Misses Ella D Miller, Mary Miller and Nell Miller of Goodnight. Friends and relatives were present at the funeral from Oklahoma, Louisiana and Colorado and Denison, Fort Worth, Canyon, Claude, Wellington and Amarillo
