Services for Homer Wesley Windom Jr., 75, of Longview, formerly of Henderson, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Wesley Chapel CME Church, with the Rev. Chester Bowens, Evangelist Dorothy Wright and the Rev. Darlene Shackleford officiating. Burial will be in Henderson City Cemetery. Arrangements are by Southern Funeral Home. Mr. Windom died May 17, 2007, in Longview.
He was born May 16, 1932, in Henderson and lived most of his life in Texas. He attended Fremont High School in Los Angeles, Calif., and was a member of Wesley Chapel CME Church and a retired office manager. He served five years in the Army.
He was preceded in death by mother, Maria Lewis Spills; brother, Herman Earl Windom; and sister, Mable Marie Windom Jackson.
