Henry Allen "Hank" Bellah went home to his Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2009. He was born March 22, 1920, in Nocona, Texas, to John and Cora Bellah. He married Josie Jean Benson on September 21, 1940. They moved to Electra, Texas, in 1966.

Henry is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jean of Electra; daughter, Melinda Barton and husband, Kenneth, of Bowie, Texas; daughter, Debra Wernette of Wichita Falls, Texas; son, Melvin Bellah and wife, Luwanna of Electra, Texas; son, Clois "Buddy" Bellah and wife Sandy of Sulphur, Oklahoma; son, Keith Bellah of Electra, Texas, and Foye Head of Electra, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by grandson, John Henry Bellah and grandson, Timmy Bellah.

Henry served in the Army during World War II under General Patton. He worked in the oilfield for Corpening Enterprises for 35 years. Since retiring in 1989, he has been an "inactive" member in good standing of the Do Nothing Club in Electra.

Family visitation will be Tuesday, March 17, 2009, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Dutton Funeral Home, Iowa Park, Texas. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at the Assembly of God Church in Electra, with Pastor Darwin Stroud officiating. Burial will be in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Electra Senior Citizens Center, 503 West Michigan Electra, Texas, 76360.

Josie Jean Bellah, age 87, died Monday, March 30, 2015 in Iowa Park, Texas.

Mrs. Bellah was born June 6, 1927 in Comanche, Oklahoma to Jasper Hugh Nell (Benson) Lee. She and Henry Bellah were married September 21, 1941. She was a homemaker and liked to play dominoes and had a green thumb for house plants.

Her parents, husband, son, Clois Bellah and wife, Sandra, nephew, Foye Head, grandsons, Timmy and John Bellah, daughter-in-law Irene Bellah, and her siblings preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children; Debra Wernette of Wichita Falls, Melinda Barton and husband, Kenneth of Electra, Melvin Bellah and wife, Luwanna of Electra, and Keith Bellah of Cleburne, Texas: 16 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren._
