Dies In Accident
Miller Hammons, Jr., 22. aviation cadet at Goodfellow Field, San Angelo, was accidentally killed in a plane mishap Monday. He was the nephew of Mrs. Jack Moore and Mrs. Grace Robertson of Comanche and had frequently visited here. Mesdames Moore and Robertson attended the funeral which was held at his home at Donna Thursday.
Young Hammons would have received his wings in January. He received his initial training at Kelly Field and went from there to Sikeston, Mo., before being transferred to Goodfellow Field at San Angelo.
