Funeral services for Mrs.Norrie Truehitt 89,of Valley View will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Vernie Keel Funeral Chapel in Gainesville.
The Rev. J.A. Owens of Gainesville and the Rev.Bud Looper of Aubrey,both Baptist ministers,will officiate.Burial is to be in New Hope Cemetery.
Mrs.Truehitt died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the home of a grandson, Cleo Graves,of Mountain Springs.
She was born in the old Prairie Chapel community in Denton County on Dec.22,1872.She had been living in or near Valley View since 1927.
Her husband Rounzel Truehitt,died in 1952.
Survivors include a son,W.T.West of Valley View;six grandchildren;24 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be great-grandsons.
