Jerry Wayne Knight passed away May 8, 2011 in Longview, Texas.
Jerry was born August 22, 1939 in Kilgore, Texas, son of the late Edgar W. and Agnes Knight.
Mr. Knight was the owner of Central Contractors AC and Heating in Kilgore for many years. Jerry loved to work, but when not working he enjoyed taking care of his animals, he also enjoyed listening to and playing country music on his guitar and in his younger years enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jerry served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his; daughter, Cindy Hefner and husband Roger of Kilgore; sons, Tracey Knight and wife Gina of Kilgore and Wayne Knight of Kilgore; sisters, Louise Terry of Kentucky, Betty Biddle of San Antonio, Reva Fontenot of Louisiana and Melba Lambert of California; grandchildren, Jeremy Hefner, Brittany Hefner, Amanda Hefner, T.J. Knight, Kacen Knight, Adam Knight and Nichlos Knight all of Kilgore; great grandchildren, A'Mya Thompson, Paigelynn Reese and Nathan Knight all of Kilgore; special friend, Joyce Clark of Kilgore;and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ed Knight and daughter-in-law, Sandra Knight.
