Libby was a graduate of Gainesville High School in 1969
and later attended North Texas State University.
She was a homemaker
She is suvived by her Husband, John Tanner of Plano: Son and daughter -in-law, J.B. and Gayle Tanner of Highland village: Daughter and son-in-law Mary and Bo Wilson of Dallas: Mother Glena Mitchell of Plano: and Grandson Jack Tanner of Highland Village.
She was preceded in death by her Father Joe D. Mitchell
