A funeral Mass for Loretta Davis, 75, of Gainesville, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Fr. Victor Cruz officiating.

Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Davis was born Sept. 21, 1937, in Myra to Al and Marie Bayer.

She passed away Oct. 28, 2012, in Denton.

Mrs. Davis was a loving wife, mother, and devoted grandmother. She attended numerous school activities with her grandchildren. She loved the Aggies about as much as she loved her shoes. She traveled the world, loved to read a good book and enjoyed a great game of cards.

Survivors include daughter, Debra Davis of Gainesville; son, Charles Davis of Gainesville; son, John Davis and wife Bobbie of Gainesville; grandchildren, Kirk Wilson, Kinzy Wilson, Boston Davis, Hagen Davis, Emily Davis, and Trent Davis; great-granddaughter, Ayden Belle Wilson; sister, LaVonta Ward of Haskell; sister, Lanette Trammell of Gainesville; and brother, Joe Bayer and wife Linda of South Lake. Survivors also include a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Davis was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Delbert Davis; and her parents.
