June 20, 2011, page 3 - Barbara Hoskins, 63, of Detroit, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, at The Cowboy Church, with Duane Hamil and Wade White officiating. Burial is to follow in Red Oak Cemetery. The family receives friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The daughter of David Howard Jenkins and Doris Jean Kennemer Jenkins, she was born April 3, 1948, in Lamar County. Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Dwight; a son, Delvin Hoskins; brothers, Kevin Jenkins and wife, Kaye, and Dewayne Jenkins and wife, Brenda; two grandchildren, Levi Hoskins and Ashley Coursey; along with several nieces & nephews.
Casket bearers will be Delvin Hoskins, Levi Hoskins, Robert Black, Jason Jenkins, Chad Jenkins and Dustin Coursey.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made in Barbara's name to The American Heart Association or The Diabetes Association.
