STINNETT - Services for Hutchinson County pioneer Tom Henderson, 87, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Stinnett Church of Christ with Mr. Charles E. Ritchie of Amarillo, officiating.

Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Henderson died Thursday in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

A native of Indian Territory, Okla., he had been a Stinnett area resident for 69 years. He was a retired carpenter, and member of the Stinnett Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by a son, Basil, in 1979.

Survivors include his wife, Ione; three daughters, Mrs. Doug Reed of Borger, Mrs. Tommy Curry of Stinnett, and Mrs. Charles Lemons of Tyler; one sister, Mrs. Flossie McNutt of Dalhart; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons, and honorary pallbearers will be the Hutchinson County Pioneers.
