STINNETT - Funeral services for Eber Henderson, 69, of 218 Allen, who died at 2:45 p.m. Saturday in North Plains Hospital, will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Phillips United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Steve Martin, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Stinnett, will officiate. The Rev. Jack Ellzey, pastor of the United Methodist Church, in Phillips will be assisting.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Alexander-Simpson Funeral Directors.
A native of Coolidge, Tex., he came to Sanford in 1933, moving to Phillips in 1950, and to Stinnett in 1971 following his retirement from Phillips Petroleum Co. after 38 years of service.
He married Kathleen Boswell April 12, 1936, in Plaska, Tex.
Mr. Henderson was a member of the Stinnett United Methodist Church, and was an active Boy Scout worker in Sanford and in Phillips, and was a member of the Methodist Men.
Survivors are his wife; one son, David E. of Albuquerque; one daughter, Mrs. Sandra Duff of El Paso; four brothers, Preston of Fritch, Milton of Phillips, Raymon of Alleganey, Oregon, and Omer of Lynwood, Wash.; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Dyer of Tahlequah, Okla., Mrs. Daisy Coulter of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Lila Henchel of Dausman, Wis.; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dean Lieb, Austell Burrus, Lynn Davis, Hubert Hayes, Joe Cox, and John Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be fellow employees of the gas testing department division of the EMP Department, PPC.
