Wanda Faye Casida
November 25, 1931 - December 4, 2014
Wanda Faye Casida, 83, of Borger, died Thursday December 4th in Pampa. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Monday at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Wanda was born November 25, 1931 in Odessa, TX to Clyde Tipton and Warrena Lightfoot Tipton. She married John Casida, July 4th 1952 in Borger. She loved camping, crocheting, sewing and made wonderful handmade crafts of all kinds.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, son David, brother, Warren Tipton and grandson Chad Casida.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, John Casida; son, Tom Casida and wife, Suzie; grandchildren, Gayla Warren and husband, Earnet, David Casida, Jr. and wife, Brandy, Jeremy Casida and wife Kyla, all of Borger, Amy Reynolds and husband, Zachy of Yukon, OK; great grandchildren, Nick and Ali Warren, Grace Casida, Landon and Kyndra Casida, Jaxson Reynolds; and great-great granddaughter Londyn Warren.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Assoc. 415 West 8th Ave. #300 Amarillo, TX 79101.

John ''Bill'' William Casida, 89, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2015.
Graveside service will be held 10 am Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Westlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Conny Moore, officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. His memory may be honored with a gift to the Alzheimer's Association, 415 West 8th Ave. 300 Amarillo, Texas, 79101.
Bill was born October 6, 1926 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Edith H. (Gurney) and Alfred Arthur Casida. He was a member of Bunavista Baptist Church. He married Wanda Faye Tipton on July 4, 1952 in Borger. Bill proudly served in the United States Navy. He received his Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Paleontology from Oklahoma City University. Bill was a well site geologist for Phillips. He enjoyed working, traveling, fishing and camping. However, family vacations were what he loved most.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, David Casida, Sr.; and grandson, Chad Casida.
Survivors include his son, Tom Casida and wife Suzie of Borger; four grandchildren, Jeremy and Kyla, David, Jr. and Brandy, Gayla and Ernest, Amy; six great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and one niece and nephew.
