Obituary for Tolbert
Funeral services for Tolbert S. Johnson, 82, are scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday from Gardner Street Church of Christ, where he was a member.

Officiating ministers will be J.F. Chism, pastor, and Charles Whitmire of Johnson Park Church of Christ.

Interment in Westlawn Memorial Park will be directed by Ed Brown & Sons, Funeral Directors.

Casketbearers are George Williams, F.E. Brown, L.E. Homesley, R.E. Haynes Sr., W.R. Weddington, T.J. Whiteley.

The pioneer Borgan died at 6 a.m. Wednesday in a local nursing home. He came to Borger in 1926 and worked as a carpenter until retirement.

Surviving are his wife, Nina, 112 Coble; son, two daughters, a sister, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Obituary for Nina
Funeral services for Nina Myrtle Johnson, 76, pioneer Borger resident, are at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Minton Memorial Chapel with J.R. Chism, minister of Gardner St. Church of Christ, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park, directed by Minton Mortuary.

Casketbearers are Walt Weddington, Jack Fields, J.B. Hunt, Kenny Walters, Sheriff Smith, and J.L. "Mutt" Warren.

Born Dec. 4, 1892 in Kentucky, Mrs. Johnson came to Borger in 1926 with her husband, the late T.S. Johnson. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and Borger Rebekah Lodge. She died at 6:30 a.m. today in North Plains Hospital.

Surviving are son Raymon Johnson of Houston; daughter, Mrs. Juanita Weddington, 414 Roosevelt; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
