TEXAS CITY - Mrs. Vera . Marie Loveless passed from this life Tuesday evening in Texas City
Born January 25, 1908, in Denison, Texas, Mrs. Loveless had been a resident of Santa Fe and Galveston for many years. She retired after 25 years of service with Stop & Shop in Galveston and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her only daughter, Dorothy Swint of Santa Fe; one devoted daughter-in-law, Kay Loveless also of Santa Fe, who stood by her side till death; one sister, Alene and husband Bill Finley, Bacliff; devoted friends, Jimmy and Betty Anderson, Santa Fe; 9 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, the Reverend Leon Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Bobby Loveless, David Loveless, Robbie Loveless, Rusty Loveless, Richard Swint and Scott Gerald Swint.
