Loretta May Whaley, 85, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013.

Funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Fellowship Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Westlawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm Friday, August 9, 2013.

Loretta was born in Spaulding, Oklahoma to Herbert and Maxine Barnett. She married Jackson Whaley May 18, 1946 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Loretta was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and at the time of her death was the oldest member. She was an avid sports enthusiast, especially the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and San Antonio Spurs. Most of all Loretta loved her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jackson Whaley; parents; brothers, Bob and Bill Barnett; and sister, Oneta Webb.

Survivors include her son, Ronny Whaley and his wife, Brenda of Katy, Texas; daughter, Reta Field and her husband, Garry of Pampa; four grandchildren, Reece Field, Darin Field, Alisa Tatom, Braden Whaley; six great grandchildren; brothers, Charles Barnett and his wife, Becky of Ada, Oklahoma, Frank Barnett and his wife, Helen of Lancaster, California; and sister, JoAnn Browne and her husband, Jim of Rathdrum, Idaho.
