Milton W. Banta, 62, of 117 South Hedgecoke, resident of Borger for the past 15 years, died at North Plains Hospital at 3:30 p.m. Saturday following a heart attack.

He was a member of the Second and Deahl Church of Christ and a veteran of World War I. He owned and operated the Elks Barber Shop.

Survivors include his wife; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Nicks of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and two brothers, Irvin Banta and Ernest Banta, both of Wetumka Oklahoma.

Funeral services are pending with Minton's Funeral Home.
