Wanda Jo Henson, 82, of Brownfield passed away Saturday, May 1, 2013 in Lubbock. She was born December 25, 1930 in Terry County to Thomas Foster and Ila Blanche (Stice) Winn. She attended Brownfield Schools. Wanda married George White Henson, Jr. on July 3, 1949 in Brownfield. He preceded her in death on January 18, 2007. She was a member of Brownfield Church of Christ. She is also preceded in death by her infant sister, Betty Joy and two brothers, Tommy and Bill Winn.

Wanda "Mimi" loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and her friends. She had a passion for the outdoors, riding horses, being on the farm, playing golf and tennis. She also enjoyed watching basketball.

Wanda is survived by a son, Monty and his wife Kathy of Brownfield; a daughter, Treena Aston of Dallas; 6 grandchildren, Tatum Schilling and husband Allen of Slaton, Lacey Aston Jobe and husband Taylor of Albuquerque, NM, Brittany Aston of Dallas, Madison Becker Hisey and husband Ben of Richmond, Mason Becker and wife Megan of Wellman and Avery Aston of Dallas; 7 great grandchildren, Kambyl, Kynlie and Linken Schilling, Hutton and Holland Jobe, Madden Becker and Will Hisey; a sister, Verna Cooper of Lubbock.
