Funeral services for George W. Berry, 85, of 420 N. McGee are at 2:30 p.m. today from First United Methodist Church with the pastor, Dr. Hubert Thomson, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Amos Meador of First Church of the Nazarene.
Interment in Highland Park Cemetery will be directed by Minton Mortuary.
Mr. Berry died Saturday in North Plains Hospital. He lived in Borger for 36 years and until three years ago he was custodian at North Plains Hospital.
Surviving are his wife, three sons, two daughters, a sister, eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Active casketbearers are Earl Folks, Henry Unzen, Elmer Mercer, Lewis Knowles, M.J. Barney and Val Comer.
Honorary pall bearers are Cecil Holmes, C.W. Garrett, Earnest Hooper, Dan McGregor, C.J. Chapman, M.I. Edwards, A.B. Dickerson, Burl Lloyd Eugene Hooper, and Pat Davis.

Services for Mrs. Mittie Caroline Berry, 81, of Leisure Lodge, were at 4:30 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lyman Wood, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
A native of Texas, she was a Borger resident for 48 years.
Mrs. Berry was a member of the First Methodist Church and a former teacher of the Noel Sunday School Class.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Molly Epps of Phillips; a son, Dr. Kenneth Berry of Omaha, Neb.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
